Orbis is a non-profit organization that works to help improve vision in impoverished countries. They are currently in need of a packaging system for donated glasses, as only half of their products make it through shipping in one piece. In order to combat this, I developed a sustainable case. The 100% reusable box protects the glasses, and then it can be planted. The product of this would be a vitamin B-rich plant, native to each country, which would help prevent vision loss in the future.

These book covers were designed for the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix. The die-cut covers represent the main characters passage through the gates of death and back again. The colors reference back to the natural elements: earth, water and fire. Each of these elements were essential to the development of this science-fictional plot.

The Texas Rangers are a baseball team unlike any other; therefore their rebranding should reflect this. Our team began by deciding that the Rangers should not try to compete in the flashy, high-tech realm, but instead go back to their roots. Throughout the process, we kept in mind what the Rangers’ namesake originally represented: loyalty, bravery, and solidarity. Add to this the “True Grit” that is Texas and you have yourself a baseball team worth supporting.

When purchasing wine for the first time, the idea of pairing it with the correct food selection can be quite daunting. In order to make this process as painless as possible, these labels illustrate which wine goes with what is on your menu. The two size options allow for the consumer to try a new flavor without committing to a large bottle. 

as i have said before, tennis makes up a big part of my life. In fact, i am lucky enough to coach ten wonderful high school girls. This year is going to be tough, because three of the girls from my original team are graduating. they asked if i would design something for them to take to college with them, and how could I say no? after a brief brainstorm session, this was the finial result.

When heading to the beach, the last thing any girl wants is to have to drag around excess baggage. That is no longer a problem with the towel bag. Going from bag to towel and back again in three simple steps makes beach hopping more enjoyable.

These shirts were designed for a late summer/early fall line for Hurley. This company is “an authentic youth lifestyle brand rooted in surfing, skate, music and art.” The inspiration behind this series begins in Bali. From here we dive right into not only the beautiful ocean waters, but the culture as well. The following are a blending of these two concepts.

This chair is a personal reflection of my belief that life is a series of balancing acts. Both bad and good exist in the world, but it is a choice that each person must make that decides how their life is lived. The seven different types of wood stand for seven stories that have helped shape who I am today.
